It’s already past midnight, yet you’re still awake. You can’t get yourself to sleep no matter what you do or how you position yourself. If you’re one of those who seem to have difficulties sleeping early and only start yawning around 3 a.m., these suggestions will come in handy.
DO NOT MAKE AN AFTERNOON NAP
During the afternoon, refrain from sleeping. Do something to keep yourself awake, regardless of how tired you are. You’ll feel sleepy at night and go to bed sooner than usual. If it’s inevitable for you to sleep during the afternoon, make sure that it won’t last for one hour.
TIRE YOURSELF OUT
Another way of getting to bed early is to make yourself tired. You can do anything you want; exercising, dancing, or any physical or mental activity. But, don’t do these before bedtime.
REFRAIN YOURSELF FROM USING DIGITAL DEVICES
It’s our common routine that we’ll let ourselves scroll and browse on our social media accounts or the internet every time we go to bed. Little did we know, it was already past midnight. To avoid this kind of situation, train yourself not to touch or go over your phone once you’re already in bed unless it’s urgent.
Going to bed early will help you have a healthier lifestyle and body.
Help yourself out; self-discipline is the key.
